Olembia Guesthouse

Olembia is a charming boutique hostel. With only 50 beds, it is one of the smallest backpackers in Melbourne. Built in 1922, it is a lovely example of Edwardian architecture with a bay window and an open fireplace in the cosy guest lounge. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and available for guest use. We have single, double and twin rooms and shared accommodation (female only rooms are also available). All rooms are hydronically heated and have vanity basins. Other services include off-street parking, mountain bike hire, free luggage storage, laundry facilities, tour and accommodation bookings and free tea and coffee. St Kilda's famous cake shops, cafes and restaurants are only a short walk away as is the beach where guests can stroll, run, rollerblade or cycle along the foreshore.
