Moira Tourism Inc
Moira Tourism Inc. is the peak tourism industry body representing the Moira Shire in northern Victoria. Under the branding Sun Country on the Murray, Moira Tourism is primarily responsible for marketing the region but also assumes responsibility for the training of the 90 volunteers who are the frontline staff of the four visitor information centres. In 2003/04, Moira Tourism's marketing campaign focussed on a high level of television exposure on prime time programs including The Today Show, Getaway and Saturday Disney. Other marketing activity that backed up the television coverage included a series of travel shows and cooperative marketing undertaken with local tourism associations.
