Kangan Batman TAFE

Kangan Batman TAFE’s Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Department takes a unique approach to the delivery of its tourism and hospitality Advanced Diploma courses. This delivery approach is based around intensive preparation of the students to enter the State Government’s Tourism Student Business Initiative (TSBI). The TSBI requires students to develop comprehensive business plans for viable tourism business ideas. This approach, which includes an industry guest speaker program and research study-tour, has helped numerous students win awards in the prestigious TSBI and has benefited the students both personally and professionally. The department offers training in travel/tourism, hospitality, cookery, food production and food safety.
