Flagstaff Hill

Opened in 1975, Flagstaff Hill is one of the largest tourist attractions on the Great Ocean Road, overlooking Lady Bay in Warrnambool. Visitors to Flagstaff Hill embrace the perils of sea travel in the 1870s as they explore the Gravesend Theatre and the Great Circle Gallery. At night, visitors experience the Shipwrecked! sound and laser show, which brings to life the true story of the Loch Ard disaster and the miraculous survival of two teenage passengers. Flagstaff Hill has become the contemporary link between the culture and heritage of the Shipwreck Coast, enhancing Victoria's iconic Great Ocean Road experience.
