Energy in Sport Celebration
The Latrobe City ‘Energy in Sport Celebration’ is an action packed calendar of sporting excellence conducted in autumn, The event is an innovative and unique approach to event tourism. It brings together 19 annual events by Latrobe City Council's Destination Latrobe Team. The 'Energy in Sport Celebration' is a series of events with a common denominator and showcases them together, thus positively promoting the Latrobe Valley as a significant event tourism destination. It capitalises on the interest of sporting events generated by major events held in Victoria and with community support establishes Latrobe Valley as the "Sporting Capital of Regional Victoria in autumn".
