The Latrobe Visitor Information Centre is proud to be Level 1 Accredited and a finalist in the 2006 Victorian Tourism Awards. Being integral to the Tourism and Events unit, our ultimate goal is to create an experience for visitors that surpass expectations resulting in an increased length of stay or return visit. Utilizing technology familiarisations and training ensure staff and volunteers maintain product knowledge and quality service skills. Promoting the local tourism industry, the VIC has built strong relationships with operators and actively supports business development. Our personal delivery, knowledge and passion ensure that talking to a local makes all the difference.
