Destination Gippsland

Destination Gippsland (DGI) is the peak tourism marketing body for Gippsland. Formed in December 2004, its primary function is to help promote Gippsland as a tourism destination. The Campaign Committee has strong representation from industry and government and committed to working in partnership with key stakeholders and industry to ensure a co-ordinated and sustainable approach to marketing Gippsland. The INSPIRED BY GIPPSLAND Brand Campaign, launched in October 2006 has captured the imagination of Gippslanders and Victorians. The Campaign has been led by Destination Gippsland (DGI) in partnership with Tourism Victoria, the Industry, the Community, and Consultants. It encourages our key target market to take another look and rediscover Gippsland’s inspirational experiences.
