Cape Schanck Lightstation

Built in 1859, Cape Schanck light station offers a unique accomodation experience as guests stay in the original lighthouse keeper's cottages. Situated in a Heritage listed maritime precinct and surrounded by National Park, guests are transformed back in time as they become the lighthouse keepers during their stay. Part of the experience includes a tour of the fully operational lighthouse with access to our maritime museum. To conclude your day, watch the sun set and the light beam sweep over the Bass Strait as it has done since 1859.
