Tarra Festival

From its inception in 1971 to the present day the Tarra Festival has been the embodiment of Community spirit. Yarram’s rich pioneering history is depicted through drama, music, art, guided walks and family picnics. With the support of residents, service and community organisations and school children, the street procession and associated events have been an outstanding success. A true demonstration of Australian spirit. Yarram with its population of approximately 2000 people and situated in the rich dairy country of south Gippsland is proud to present this great initiative, The Tarra Festival.
