Mt Atkinson Olive Grove
Victoria’s Annual Olive Festival is held on the third Sunday in November and has been running for five years offering visitors a food and wine style experience with a key focus on olives. Held on Mt Atkinson Olive Grove, Victoria’s Annual Olive Festival showcases the regions food, wine and olive industry. The day offers visitors complimentary tastings of products, a variety of stalls to try and buy, musical entertainment, cooking demonstrations, fun for the kids and a fully licensed café offering hot and cold food. Entry into the festival is free and parking is encouraged amongst the olive trees, to give the visitor an olive feel before entering the event. In 2005 the festival attracted 5,000 visitors, had 35 stalls of food, wine and crafts.
