Ballarat Visitor Services operates a recently expanded network of visitor information facilities across Ballarat, providing 200,000-plus yearly visitors with excellence in customer service and quality and accurate tourism information. Strategically placed in popular tourist areas, the primary Visitor Information Centre (VIC), four satellite VICs and three information stands, provide Ballarat Visitor Services’ staff and volunteers with wide-reaching access to Ballarat’s visitor base. This City of Ballarat business unit also works closely with the local tourism industry in encouraging visitors to stay longer with in the region, and also to promote Ballarat as a key Victorian tourism destination to potential visitors.
