Conservation Volunteers Australia

Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) is Australia's leading not for profit conservation organisation, with 25 offices around Australia. Based in Ballarat, CVA's programs provide an innovative ecotourism product that stands alone from other experiences. Since 1982 CVA has provided exciting opportunities for worldwide travellers to actively participate in practical conservation projects across Australia, as part of an ecotourism experience. Each conservation project is carefully selected to address priority environmental issues and is managed by CVA's qualified leader. Programs are packaged to provide fully hosted experiences including transport, accommodation, food, activities and CVA leader. Specific activities include endangered species monitoring, tree planting, flora surveys, heritage restoration and weed removal.
