Otway Fly

The Otway Fly is an elevated walkway in the canopy of a majestic old growth forest in the Otway Ranges of south-west Victoria. The Fly opened for business jn September 2003, and in the 22 months since commencement has received 380,000 new converts to eco-tourism. The Otway Fly enables visitors to experience a 600-metre long walk through ancient forest canopy some 20-30 metres above ground level. The walkway culminates in a spiral tower that rises nearly 50 metres above the forest floor. This is a new view of an ancient world, a subtly different experience that takes the visitor to a level of experience and enjoyment not possible in traditional ground-based forest walks.
