North East Valleys Food and Wine
North East Valleys Food and Wine is a cooperative marketing project involving five wine regions in north east Victoria: Rutherglen, Beechworth, Glenrowan, Alpine and King Valleys. Since early 2002, an industry driven board of food and wine representatives has met monthly to decide on the group’s direction. Marketing activities include attending consumer shows with a North East Valleys regional stand, publishing and distributing the Seasonal Indulgence Food and Wine guide, coordinating a food and wine media campaign and maintaining the North East Valleys website. The project is funded by Alpine and Indigo Shire Councils, and The Rural City of Wangaratta.
