Marketing Manager, Yarra Trams

Matthew has over 19 years experience in the tourism and transport industries in both public and private sectors. Matt began his career in the competitive coach tours market in Sydney before taking on the role of Tourism Officer in Sydney's Hills and Hawkesbury region. As Chairman of Greater Sydney Tourism he created the Sydney Wide Conferences to promote the conference market in Greater Sydney.

Matt moved to Melbourne to take up his current position with Yarra Trams looking after marketing strategy, research, local area marketing and community partnerships including Melbourne's historic City Circle Trams.

Matt holds a Master of Applied Management (Tourism) and is currently the Victorian Vice-President of the Australian Institute of Tourism Officers. He is passionate about the tourism industry and the potential it holds for local communities.

This is Matt's second year as a judge.
