Levels of Achievement
There are four levels of achievement in which entrants can receive recognition. They include the following:
Finalist
Presented to any entrant who achieved over 75 per cent of the total possible score.
Merit
Presented to the entrant that has come within threes points or less of the winner.
Winner
Presented to the entrant in a category with the highest score (over 75%). A Winner in the core categories (1 – 27) automatically becomes a Finalist in the Australian Tourism Awards, which are announced in February 2007.
Hall of Fame
Awarded to an entrant winning the same category for three consecutive years. They will be recognised for their achievements over a three year period, during which they are still eligible to contest the state awards.
