History comes alive at Central Deborah Gold Mine where you have the unique opportunity to explore a real gold mine that operated during the gold rush boom of the 1900s and learn from our friendly and knowledgeable guides what conditions were really like for miners of this harsh era. Descending underground to the depths of Bendigo, gold fever strikes our visitors on our famous Mine Experience Tour (61m underground) and on our exciting Underground Adventure Tour (85m underground). The surface of the mine is also fascinating with its treasure trove of vintage mining machinery, museums and gold panning.
