Nominations
Nominations are open for the Melbourne Airport 2009 Victorian Tourism Awards. By nominating your tourism business, individual or volunteer/s, you are able to access a wealth of information about the Awards and receive up to date information about events, the assistance program and the marketing program.
As at 30 June - we currently have 122 businesses preparing their submissions.
Mentor Program
The Mentor Program has now closed.
We have 70 businesses participating in the Mentor Program.
Workshops
14 workshops were held across Victoria in May and June.
We would be interested in your feedback on the workshops.
Advisory Service
If you attended a VTA workshop you are able to utilise the 'free' Advisory Service provided by the Awards Team.
If you send through your draft submission by Friday 7 August, the team will double check that you have complied with the formatting rules.
Delivery Details
Reminder - submissions are due on Wednesday 19 August at 4.00pm.
Specific delivery details will be available from Friday 10 July.
Site Visit
Tips to help you prepare for your site visit will be emailed to you week commencing 13 July.
Reminder to lock the site visit period into your diaries (14 September to 2 October). A judge will make contact with you (after 8 September) to lock in a date and time that is suitable for you.
Gala Ceremony
A reminder that the Melbourne Airport 2009 Victorian Tourism Awards will be held on Monday 16 November 2009 from 6.30pm.
Tickets will go on sale in mid September.
